Terrific Techniques: Fun with Washi Tape

Have you heard about the Washi craze? Have you seen Washi tape but have no idea what to do with all the cute patterns? Well this month's technique night will give you a fun introduction to Washi!

Washi is a paper tape (basically it looks like a patterned scotch tape but has the texture and rips easily like paper). Because it is semi-sheer, you can use it in a lot of different ways... even out of the craft room!

We'll do a few projects in class, including altering a 3D item (I'm still settling which projects to show vs which to make in class http://img2.meetupstatic.com/981263258369601089/img/smileys/smile.gif). I'll post pictures in advance so you can see some of what we'll be working on!
