The Bellevue Zen Center is part of the Northwest Zen Community. Our journey began in June of 2007 by offering a weekly Zazen class in the Soto Zen tradition which continues on today.
The Soto Zen practice of "Shikentaza" is based on the teachings of Dogen. We are an interfaith community of individuals who come together to "face the self" through this life affirming practice.
Through this meet-up we offer ongoing Sunday Beginners classes, sponsored and hosted by the Academy of Koei-Kan Karate-Do. The class co-led by Kosho Itagaki, Soto Zen Priest and Tiffany Robles, LMP/Somatic Education.
Our Sunday Beginners classes are sponsored and hosted by the Academy of Koei-Kan Karate-Do and are held periodically throughout the year.
