Bellydance is a beautiful, sensual expression of the human experience. Even though it looks pretty complicated and intricate, it's one of the easiest styles of dance to learn! It's a great workout for both aerobic exercise and muscle-toning.
This group is meant to bring dancers of all shapes, sizes and experience levels together to share our wisdom and love of this beautiful dance. I have a true love for all forms of bellydance, but due to various reasons I haven't been able to take classes for quite a while. I have little interest in performing for the public, but I love to dance for entertainment and health! I want to bring the wonder and joy of bellydance to all women, regardless of experience and financial wealth. I would love to find other women in the Atlanta area who would be interested in getting together to share our knowledge and have fun dancing!
I'd like to pick 1 or 2 songs and have all attending dancers work together to choreograph a dance that we can use to practice and enjoy that particular song (I will provide mp3s to all attendees!). If you have a suggestion for another activity please don't hesitate to suggest something! I just want to get together with other women and share our love of DANCE!
