Hiring decisions are often made in the first 5 minutes of the interview. Sometimes they are made BEFORE you enter the interview room. Jean O'Brien of The O'Brien Group will be teaching you how to position yourself so that excel in the first few minutes of the interview. She will give you plenty of examples and some practice. This is one of the three most over looked topics by job seekers.

While it is not "fair" that hiring decisions are made so fast, it is just a reality. As a job seeker, should you apply these principles, it can only help you be a candidate whom firmly thoroughly consider.

Please Note:

  1. All attendees are required to dress as if they are going to a formal job interview. For men this means a suit.

2, Please bring multiple copies of your resume with you.

  1. Many people show up as early as 8:00 to get one on one help with resumes and other job related issues.

  2. BJSP starts promptly at 8:45 AM and ends promptly at 12:00 Noon.

  3. The Beltway Job Search Partners is organized by a group of Christians unaffliated with any church.
