Fat Bike ride in snow - Todd Lake Snowshoe Loop

New snow predicted for Monday and Tuesday night, let's hope for good "fat biking in the snow" conditions. It may be great, it may be just okay, or not ridable at all, so bring your snowshoes, and we can hike this snowshoe trail if not ridable. CHECK BACK TO THIS SITE for updates by Wednesday morning 8 am. Rentals for fat bikes available at most shops but I recommend Pine Mt Sports and Bend Cyclery.

Meet at Dutchman Sno Park lot at 9:45 am.

Dress warm! And bring layers, hand/toes warmers if you are prone to being cold.

Mileage: I have to find out from Gary, but I think 8-10 (?).

Time: 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on conditions.

Let's go for libations/lunch at Brother John's on Galveston afterwards.

Rules of the Rides

• Approved Cycling Helmets Required.

• Participants must be 18 or over.

• To participate in a BACE Meetup activity, you must be a member of the BACE Meetup Group and be RSVP’d “Yes” for that specific activity. No “Plus 1’s”

• All participants should be “self-sufficient” with their own food, hydration, tools, spare tubes and first aid supplies necessary for the activity.

• No dogs permitted on group rides unless inclusion is specified in the activity description.

• Cycling activities may be significantly impacted by changing conditions (rain, snow, mud, road construction, etc.). Participants should monitor activities for cancellations or changes in location/route.
