I woulda been there except my dog got run over... chasin' the firetruck that was on it's way to my house. A bolt of lightening struck the dead bush next to my driveway, which wouldn'ta been a problem if that freakin lava rock hadena punctured my gas tank when I was turnin around in my neighbors driveway earlier today. When the car fire got hot enough, it melted the parking break and the car rolled into my garage, which was full of scrap wood and saw dust. My stupid neighbor shouldnta called the fire dept. My dog woulda still been alive and Ole Rusty and I coulda collected the insurance and retired in Hawaii.. Maybe I should saved this till next month's storycircle.

Sorry if I scared you. Most folks that know me think "oh, this is a story" as soon as I start. Then if it is a true story, I have to work hard to convince them. I forgot there may be folks reading the comments that do NOT know that I don't have a dog. again, sorry for the emotional rush.
