To ALL Members:

In an effort to foster some ideas for the Lopez Trails project, we are announcing a "Protype Contest".

For this contest we ask you to review the clients needs from our message board:

http://www.meetup.com/Berkeley-Access-Database-Users-Group/messages/boards/thread/24668122

We ask that if your interested in participating in our prototype contest that you create your own version of the database and then we allow you to demonstrate it at one of our upcoming meetings. You can bring your design on either an SDHC memory card or a USB compatible flash drive.

Please make sure to keep your database within the scope of the clients needs.

We are having this contest because our group is so large and each person has their own style of database design that we thought this contest might cut down on the debate over the best way to handle each feature.

You may design your database in either Access 2007 or 2010. the client has already indicated that they will have the full version of Access 2010 installed.

We look forward to seeing your designs.

Regards,

Steven Schuyler
