I'd like to start a meetup group for present and future Wikipedians in Berkeley and the wider East Bay area. The group will meet once a month, each meeting including a short presentation on a topic related to Wikipedia or the larger Wikimedia movement, followed by discussion and free socializing. *** Everyone is welcome! No previous knowledge necessary! *** If you're already a Wikipedian, please don't hesitate to bring along your friends, cousins, or (not too) random strangers. The first few meetups will be particularly geared towards newbies and just-curious folks. Join us!
