Berlin Hack and Tell #4

Hackers unite!

We hope you are all busy working on your side projects, demos and hacks, as the next event will be on August 30th. This time our sponsor soundcloud will provide delicious pizza for everybody.

If that does not convince you to come then the inspiring demos should do the trick. The last 3 events showed us that all of you have amazing side projects and this is a perfect place to either show them or to find people to talk about them.

As this event depends on the people who show something I would ask you to think hard about something to show.

As always you'll get 5 minutes for showing and explaining your recent work. It can be a website, a library or an app. Neither the platform nor the programming language matters. It doesn't have to be finished or totally perfect. Just share your work with other hackers and let's all discuss about this afterwards.

We'd be very happy if you'd show up, bring your hacker-friends along and "wow" us with your hacks.

See you at c-base,

Tobias (Co-Lead)

I would like in a future that we have some clear distinction between open source hacks and close source showcases. For me hacker culture relates very strongly to ethics of openness and sharing. Showing off some outcomes without sharing technology leading to them I find a bit lame =(

cool, the 2nd round of lectures was not as exciting as the 1st - the socializing mix was perfect.

Very well organized, a lot of talks, very cool ideas and now even a sponsor. Nothing to criticize. Although it became obvious the some kind of infrastructure for demo-ing sounds has become necessary!
