Welcome, BiFemmes & Friends (BFFs)!
DC Metro BiFemmes is primarily for
bisexual and bicurious women
in the DC Metro area.
Straight, asexual & lesbian women are welcome - including single, coupled/married, and separated/divorced.
DC Metro BiFemmes(aka The BiFemmes Network) is a social network of positive and mature bi women and female friends seeking support and friendships. Currently there are 6+ BiFemme Organizers, where some represent other biwomen or bi-friendly groups. We also welcome event hosts from the membership.
The BiFemmes & Friends (BFFs) events are throughout the DC Metro region - including Northern Virginia and Maryland suburbs. Venues range from cultural and spiritual events to happy hours and brunches. We periodically have live music, film/book discussions and support gatherings.
Besides providing a social network, we have discussion and support for bi, bicurious, and questioning women (through DCBiWomen.org).
We are WOMEN ONLY group for 20s, 30s and 40s (and beyond).
NO MEN are allowed as Group Members.
Accounts used jointly by male-female couples will be denied membership.
The BiFemmes may have joint events with other LGBTQ groups,
but this Meetup will always be for women only.
All members should be an active member to maintain membership. Please attend events on a regular basis - preferably at least once or twice every quarter. One event per six-months is the minimum.*
Like some Meetup groups, we have a " No Show Policy." If a member is a No Show 3 times in a 12-month period (i.e. does not attend an event she RSVP-ed "Yes" to), she will be removed from our group.*

Profile images may be avatars, nature photos, graphic or cartoon images, instead of an actual photograph of yourself. As noted in our Communication & Membership Guidelines, explicit or pornographic images are not allowed.*
NOTE: Generally events with less than 3 Yes RSVPs may be cancelled due to lack of interest. If cancelled, the Event Host or Organizer will inform all Yes/Maybe RSVPs.*
Please visit our " About " Pages for more information - aka "Rules of Engagement" - especially the Membership Guidelines.* Feel free to contact us with questions about these.
Thanks,

** For us, "Femme" refers to any female or woman, as it is from French "femme" meaning woman. While others may use this word differently, we intend and use this as abbreviation for "female" with the original French meaning in mind. **
