Ride Like a Girl

Details
Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay (http://www.btceb.org) has a group ride for women only, the first Saturday of the month. The emphasis of these rides will be fun and to meet other women who love to ride. We have rides geared towards all level of riders with experience leaders.
Our next outing will be at Skeggs Point in El Corte de Madera Creek. Plan on a 2-3 hour ride depending on your pace.
For the High Beginner/Low Intermediate Ride - Plan on a 9 mile ride, 2,000 ft of climbing. Route: Sierra Morena (singletrack dh) - Bear Gulch Road - Blue Blossom (singletrack) - Cross Over Trail (single track climb) - Timberview Trail - Giant Salamander (single track) - Fir Trail (fire road climb out). Amy Arcus and Jane Moorhead will be leading this group ride. Please be comfortable riding single track - there isn't anything too technical but you must be comfortable controlling your bike on single track.
For the Intermediate+ Ride - Plan on a 14 mile ride, 2,700 ft of climbing at a medium/fast pace. Route: Sierra Morena (singletrack dh) - Bear Gulch Road - Blue Blossom (singletrack) - Cross Over Trail (single track climb)- Timberview Trail - Giant Salamander (single track) - Methuselah Trail - Resolution Trail (technical rocky single track) - El Corte Madera Creek Trail (steep long climb out). Inga Beck will be leading this group ride. An INTERMEDIATE rider is considered to be somewhat experienced and skilled, riding one to three times a week during the biking season over the past two or more years.
Members and nonmembers welcome. If you have questions please email inga@btceb.org or comment below. (amy.arcus@gmail.com)
