Cascading Lingual demo

After two very exciting talk sessions, it's time for a demo session this month.

I'm proud to announce André Kelpe who works for Concurrent Inc (http://www.concurrentinc.com/)., the company behind Cascading (http://www.cascading.org/). He will come for a rather hands-on session to do a demo of "Lingual".

Cascading "Lingual" (http://www.cascading.org/lingual/) is an open-source project based on the popular Cascading API that provides ANSI SQL syntax with a Java JDBC interface for running complex SQL queries against Apache Hadoop. This hands on session will show what Cascading Lingual is, how it relates to Cascading itself and how to get started with it. André will show us how to write queries against data on Hadoop and he will also focus on the easy integration of Lingual with other systems (e.g. MySQL, HBase, Memcached), which enables users to answer complex questions on Hadoop without writing any Java code.
