      I liked the presentation on security. The mention of Kerberos brought back some bad memories about when I was trying to learn the stuff, though - nasty learning curve :) Can't think of a nastier combo to configure than PAM authentication with Kerberos :)

    Hated to leave early (damn train schedule) but the talks revealed what a Wild West envir still exists on Hadoop. But watch this space, lots of open source& proprietary tools emerging. Biggest issue will ultimately be best practices. Good talks from Joe Caserta & Patrick from Cloudera
