Cloudera Search, Hadoop and SQL!

We are pleased to welcome our presenters!

Josh Fennessy, Solution Architect with BlueGranite, will present Hadoop and SQL Together: Modern Data Warehouse Design Patterns. Mr. Fennessy will discuss several design patterns that show how Hadoop can augment an existing relational data warehouse. (By the way, Josh is the founder of Big Data and Hadoop User Group of West Michigan. Thanks, Josh!)

Christopher Putnam of Cloudera will discuss Cloudera Search, a means of indexing data in Hadoop for real-time queries. Mr. Putnam will describe the architecture of Cloudera Search and use-cases in which it can be applied to greatest advantage, with demos.
