Arrival Information: Please check-in with security and then head to the 25th floor.
We're super excited to be hosting our December Big Media Meetup at the Project Thunderdome HQ (http://insidethunderdome.com/)!
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., presentations will begin at 7 p.m.
The following presenters will be giving 10 minute “flash” talks, followed by 5 minutes of questions:
• Connor Jennings and team (The Washington Post): How The Washington Post Uses WordPress
• Helen Hou-Sandi (10up): Redefining Traditional Media Workflows in WordPress
• Mo Jangda and team (WordPress.com VIP): Code Review for Teams
• Taylor Buley (Parade): Parade.com and the WordPress Theme Customizer
After the talks, we'll take 30 minutes to break out into small discussion groups.
After that, we'll all walk over to The Growler (http://www.thegrowlernyc.com/) and grab drinks -- we've reserved a room in the back!
If you plan on attending, please be sure to RSVP as space is limited.
If you can't make it, all the talks will be posted online afterwards. Watch the talks from the last Big Media Meetup, featuring Scott Taylor (The New York Times), Josh Kadis (Quartz), Austin Smith (Alley Interactive), Andy Nacin (WordPress) here (http://vip.wordpress.com/tag/big-media-wordpress-meetup/).
If you're interested in presenting at a future meetup or have an idea for a breakout group, please email me at steph@automattic.com.
