Sensor Data Analysis with MIOsoft and Quietyme

Two Madison-based companies are teaming up to discuss the technical and economic challenges of widespread device-based data collection. This talk will cover everything from collecting the raw data to getting meaningful information out of it—in real time.

MIOsoft researches and develops technology for real-time analytics and processing of data from thousands of sources. Quietyme uses sensors and software to detect disruptive noise in hospitals, hotels, and other commercial spaces.

Together, MIOsoft and Quietyme enable active improvement of the noise environment. MIOsoft’s technology uses pattern matching on streaming data fromQuietyme’s sensor network to decide what kind of noise is occurring and issues real-time alerts that notify human staff about noise disruptions.
