Rooftop Farming within the city

Hello Boston Volunteers,

An opportunity to farm within the city!

We will be working with Northampton Square Rooftop Gardens, which grows a variety of nutritionally rich produce to donate to a city food pantry. We may be involved with fall seeding/transplanting/adding cover crop or whatever task needs to accomplished on that date. Please bring water and a snack.

Address: 35, Northampton St, Boston, MA, 4th floor

Parking: Available for a fee within the building. Street parking may be available on Mass. avenue, but I have been told it is limited

Public Transport: Orange line to Mass. Avenue. After coming out of the T stop head southwest on SW Corridor Park towards Watson St, slight left onto Northhampton Street (0.7 miles, 14 mins according to google maps).

Dress: Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
