BeerDeCoded

Dear biohackers, hackers, beer lovers, scientists and other knowledge loving people. I'm sure you are impatiently waiting for this workshop for months. On 24.03.2016 (that is Thursday) at 17h, we are starting with BeerDeCoded (http://www.genome.beer) workshop. As we were partners in the successful Kickstarter project with Hackuarium and SwissDeCode, we are now preparing the workshop on how to decode beer.

What we will do?

We'll have an introduction to DNA in beer and elsewhere, have a Skype with Gianpaolo Rando, the director of the BeerDeCoded project, we'll make some tempeh and extranct soem DNA from beer and tempeh. We'll also try some local beer and try it with or without cheese. In the end we'll have a brainstorming discussion about the BeerDeCoded project, applicability, usage,...

There are only two things important:

• you have to be 18+ (I'm talking about age :)
• we can have max. 8 people.
