Jesse Danger - Professional Parkour Instructor & Performance artist

Bio: Jesse danger has been training, teaching, and performing parkour in New York for more than nine years. His organization 'the movement creative' is dedicated to the spread of parkour as a means of mental and physical improvement. He believes in training safely and knowing your limits and finding creative and challenging ways to overcome them by doing only things that make you stronger.

Exo - NYParkour

Bio: A New York native, Exo started his Parkour training over in England back in 04' and has had the pleasure of Training with and learning From a variety of different regional PK scenes, From Stockholm to LA and has enjoyed the International camaraderie that accompanies the Art-Form. After Helping to Develop the NYParkour Community in 05,' He Started Instructing Parkour out of his desire to balance out the extreme information gap he experienced when he arrived back in the U.S., and has relished the unexpected joys that have come with it. He's also been featured on, as well as worked behind the scenes of various TV and Film productions for companies such as Warner Bros, Columbia pictures, AT&T, and Nike just to name a few, and is currently the Editorial Director of NYParkour.com

Max Henry - Parkour/Freerunning practitioner

Bio: A native of Long Island, Max has been training parkour for six and a half years. In that time, he has performed for companies such as the NBA, Hulu, MTV, Nerf, and Red Bull (to name a few). Max is one of a handful of international athletes for the World Freerunning and Parkour Federation, the world's largest federation for the sport of parkour, and has also spent time traveling and teaching parkour as a guest instructor at gyms across the United States. Max is currently completing a B.A. in mathematics at Hofstra University and enjoys singing with Hofstra's Chamber Choir, puzzling over set theory problems, and hiking/bouldering when he's not out training."

What is Parkour?

"Parkour is a physical discipline of french origin, derived from the term “parcours du combattant,” a type of military obstacle course training. At its core, parkour is the art of quick and efficient movement, utilizing techniques such as vaults, jumps, and climbs. However, as the discipline has developed, parkour (often used interchangeably with the term freerunning) has become associated with many aspects of movement and is considered by most practitioners to simply describe movement through an environment. Regardless of the definition used, practitioners (known as traceurs for males and traceuses for females) strive to express themselves through the creativity, fluidity, and physical beauty of their movement."
