I majored in Genetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received my Bachelor of Science in the field in May 2013. I've always been very passionate about science and having worked in two laboratories as an undergraduate I was fascinated by the new technology that would circulate through our laboratories. In addition to witnessing actual equipment, I constantly read articles about new advancements in the field of biotechnology. Towards the end of my undergraduate career, I decided to take this fascination and use it as my inspiration for my career path.
I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life, first in Milwaukee then in Brookfield, before attending the University in Madison for my undergraduate studies. I have now begun my career here as a laboratory technician at Cellular Dynamics International, located in the Research Park area.
