A film festival dedicated to digital currencies.

This year's festival makes a tour around the world with screenings in Berlin, Seoul, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and now, Amsterdam.

Sander Duivestein from Sogeti's VINT innovation lab, author of the book No More Secrets and an expert on Bitcoin 2.0, Big Data, technological unemployment, the collaboration economy and the economic crisis, will deliver the evening's keynote presentation.

Mr. Duivestein is particularly known for his thoughts on the impact of disruptive technology on society and business.

In addition to his work with Sogeti, Mr. Duivestein is a columnist and serial entrepreneur, and has made appearances on Brandpunt and Pauw en Witteman.

Next, Tomer Kantor, the maker of the acclaimed documentary film "Bitcoin in Kenya" and the upcoming "IamSatoshi" will talk and do a Q&A after the screening of some of his best work.

The film festival also includes a colorful collection of short animations, accessible short documentaries from around the world and a screening of the entertaining feature-length documentary ‘The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin’ by Nicholas Mross, which recently had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Each of the films in the festival illustrate the technology and potential impact of the digital currency revolution in an exciting and understandable way.

There will be Q and A, discussions and introductions about the films throughout the evening for beginners and experts alike.

Entrance fee is 12 euro at the door or 10 euro when paid in advance in bitcoins. Please follow instructions below.
