Black marriages and families are under siege in our culture today as never before. There is tremendous pain as families are torn apart, with children and succeeding generations suffering great social, emotional, financial, physical, and spiritual pain. It is for these reasons that, the Black Marriage Couples Network was created.  We are uniting together to declared marriage an issue that is still sacred, relevant, and viable in our culture and community.

We define marriage as the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law.  This group of passionate couples will begin meeting to reclaim the “Strength in Black Marriages and Family Units”.
