Walk from Evans Street, South Portland to Bug Light along the Green Belt Path (6.06 miles total walk)
As a sole proprietor or small business owner, your business begins and ends with you. What happens if you become ill or injured? How does your energy effect your productivity? How can you build yourself up, so you can grow your business? How are you prepared to bounce back after a set back?
Those will be topics of our discussion as we walk the beautiful and scenic Green Belt Trail in South Portland from the parking lot on Elizabeth Taylor Lane to Bug Light Park. (6.06 miles round trip)
Agenda:
9:00 AM - Meet at parking lot on trail head off Evans Drive in South Portland (corner of Evans and Broadway)
Parking Lot is behind Docks Seafood - 15 Evans Street, South Portland ME
9:30 AM - begin our walk down Green Belt Path to Bug Light
11:00-11:30 - arrive at Bug Light
11:30 - 12:30 - picnic discussion
12:30-2:00 - Walk back to parking area

What you need to bring/wear:
Comfortable walking shoes
appropriate clothing for weather conditions (dress in layers)
a light back pack or comfortable shoulder bag
a walking journal & pen (optional)
some business cards
water bottle
hat/sunglasses/sunscreen
Light lunch and/or snacks
Blazing Trails will provide bottled water, apples, and light snacks at Bug Light.
Dogs are allowed on this hike but must be well mannered, socialized with dogs and people, and on leash. There are several places we need to cross intersections of busy roads. Please bring water, food and pick up bags for your pooch.
