Paul invited me to post the hackathon as the first event of this meetup group, thanks for that!
As you might know already, Chainsmiths (https://chainsmiths.com) is organizing the biggest blockchain hackathon in Europe... and it's in Dublin!
Tickets are at €25, and it's well worth it (full cost about €200/participant in organization cost)
150 participants, huge (€10k) cash prizes, awesome food!
On the Friday, everybody gets a chance to pitch an idea if they want to, then people vote for the best ideas and we move forward to the hacking bit for the rest of the weekend.
You can expect about 20 ideas to move forward, by the end of the weekend we will judge the work done, and reward the best teams.
