Blue Island Photography Open Theme (Photographers and Models) Meetup

You have heard about all the photography and modeling events happening in the city. Blue Island Photography meetup group is bringing these events to the south suburbs of Chicago. Come out and join us at our 2500 sq ft venue. This meetup event is an open themed event. This event is scheduled for March 19, 2011 from 12:00pm-5pm.

Models- There is $10 fee for models. Female and male models ages 18 and over, all sizes welcome. The theme for this photo shoot is open to your discretion (no nudity). Bring at least 3-4 outfits for this shoot. Come on out and get some modeling experience under your belt or just modeling refresher. Also, you will get access to the photos taken by the photographers. This is an excellent opportunity to upgrade your portfolio. Call time for models is 10 AM SHARP. If you are interested in participating please RSVP.

Make-up artist/Stylist- The make needs to be appropriate and professional. Please prepare the models makeup colors and tones to be natural, and hair done to complement the wardrobe. Please do not use make-up that has glitter in it. Call time for you is 10 AM SHARP. Make-up artist and stylist interested in participating, please email at reid.dean@gmail.com .

Photographers- There is space for 18 photographers. The venue is a huge 2500 sq ft annex with lots of windows. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of natural light. Models for this shoot are encouraged to be fun and energetic. During the shoot, I ask for photographers to tap into your inner creativity and have a few poses in mind for the models. For those who have never worked with a model during a photo shoot, this is a great opportunity to gain experience. It is expected of all photographers to provide photos within 1 week. Photos should be posted on the group meetup site. If you plan on setting up a full light setup, please let me know when you RSVP. Feel free to bring props at your discretion. Call time for photographers who are not setting up lights is 11:45am. Call time for photographer(s) with confirmation of light setup is 11:00am. Make sure you bring extension cords and surge protectors. Photographer fee is $38 to confirm your RSVP.
