Hands on Bluemix Workshop: Containers

IBM Bluemix, an Enterprise-grade cloud platform has very recently offered a hosted Docker service. This allows developers to leverage the transportability of containers and the myriad of services offered in Bluemix on a platform that is highly available and scalable.

We will learn the concepts with a few fast-paced simple exercises based around IBM containers. Please follow steps 1-4 to install the prerequisite software (Docker, CF CLI and ic plugin) - https://www.ng.bluemix.net/docs/containers/container_cli_ov.html#container_cli_ov

Although a preliminary understanding of the Cloud Foundry commands (cf CLI) and Docker would be useful, it’s not absolutely necessary. After attending this Hands-On session, attendees will be able to walk away with an understanding of the power of IBM Containers that builds atop Docker and Cloud Foundry.
