  • The Westside Gamers is having their weekly meeting and they are going to play board games until midnight. The group has been meeting since 2005 and attendance runs from 16 to 50 gamers with five to ten tables (games) running at the same time.

Board games of all kinds will be played.  There will be various games already at the meeting though it is OK to bring one of your own.

  • The featured game is "Seasons" which plays four in over an hour. This is part of the "Essen 2012" (new games of 2012) theme being run the fourth Thursday for most of 2013.

I've posted in a couple of places about doing a group camping /gaming thing. Group campsite reservations were disappearing as I viewed them. I went ahead and made an executive decision and reserved one for September 27 and 28 at Meadow Group Campground in Angeles National Forest. Campsite cost for the 2 nights will be $90 divided by however many people show up!
The place has piped water, toilets (flush or vault, sources vary) and room for 6 vehicles and 24 people. So its on!!! Email me at [masked] to get on the group email list. Let me know if you want your email contact kept public or private. If enough people sign up I may be able to change the reservation to a larger campground. My RV will be serving as our base of operations and sleeping quarters for up to 6 people.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
