urbangamer Ringwood

urbangamer is back on again this Saturday night. The great news is that there is no venue hire (ie: party) on this month so we will be downstairs and there will be no confusion as to finding us! Once you're in the building that is! See further below for details on finding the building and parking options.

All types of games are welcome and people can bring their own or see what others bring. As a guide most games that we play are easy to learn games that play in about an hour (such as Ticket to Ride, King of Tokyo, Splendor, Tikal, Tobago, Forbidden Desert, Kingdom Builder etc). That said, if you want to play a longer game then chances are someone will be happy to join you.

Finding us:
Urbanlife Community Centre is the grey building between Midway Arcade (yellow building) and L J Hooker (black building) opposite Ringwood train station.

Parking:
The best free after hours parking is on the corner of Ringwood St and Seymour St. Parking is also available underneath Eastland Shopping Centre, just follow the signs to 'Town Square' although I'm not sure what the rate is at that time of night.

Trains:
Take either a Lilydale or Belgrave train and get off at Ringwood. Cross Maroondah Hwy towards the gigantic white cheese grater, turn left before you enter the town square. If you hit Ringwood St you've gone too far! Trains run all night on a Saturday and Protective Service Officers are stationed at every station.
