[If wednesday would work better for a majority just say so, but Thursdays seems to have been the best for most]

In light of some recent news articles discussing near destruction of the east coast and neighborhood size nuclear reactors, it's a good time to talk about nuclear technology overall, as a social resource, and as a weapons technology.

An example of a near mass destruction

A discussion of small nuclear reactors that can't meltdown or easily be weaponized

The US isn't the only country with nuclear devices, not to mention human error, should we be working towards dismantling? Or simply better safety measures? Is mutually assured destruction a necessary part of world peace?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
