Do we have a free will?

Depends on what the person asking the question means by "free". In a psychological sense, as in whether people choose their actions freely or the actions are determined by other factors, I have come to realize that free will and determinism are a false dichotomy.

Are you religious, agnostic, atheistic etc? What do you believe? A) How does your belief shape your world/philosophical view? B) How do you view scripture/revelation? C) What is your opinion on evolution?

I do not endorse and stay far away from organized religion, however, atheism delivered with a bitter charge can be just as fanatic and unappealing. A) I try to have as objective of a world view as possible and am always open to have previously held beliefs challenged. B) I do not view scripture/revelation. C) Evolution in fascinating!

Do the ends justify the means? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Sometimes, but it is often impossible to tell until the ends are reached.

What is your political orientation (far left, left, center, right, far right…libertarian, apolitical etc.)

I focus on particular issues rather than political parties.

Have you ever stabbed somebody with a fork just because he/she didn’t agree with you?

Yes.

Introduction

I am a life long student of psychology and philosophy and enjoy discussing these subjects in relation to everything else. Other perspectives help me formulate my theories.
