Hi All!
We have had a marvelous year with 8 Meetups and for 2010 a new phase has begun! We have a new sponsor, Isis Academy of Dance in Bedford which is right in the middle of DFW. We will be setting up a new regular schedule in the new year and I can't wait to get started!
You remember there are two groups, Ft. Worth and Bedford? Well for the new year they will join as one under the name Bollywood and Bhangra DFW Our combined membership will be over 130!
If you are a member for the original Bollywood Ft. Worth Meetup group you will not have to renew your membership, however if you are a Bedford Bollywood Meetup member you are invited to move over to the new combined Meetup for Bollywood and Bhangra. This is because the membership is larger in the old Ft. Worth website and I have to (Ouch!) discontinue one. Please forgive me for this inconvenience and you can do this as soon as you have the time.

I do not have the ability to transfer your information over to the new site so I hope you will take a few minutes to rejoin so we can sail into the New Year as Bollywood and Bhangra DFW!
Please consider that you are a member of the first successful Bollywood Meetup group in Texas! You are making history! This past year of 2009 has been one of new beginnings and these things just don't happen by themselves! I am so proud of our group and hope you will continue in the new year as we get better and better! In our next growth phase we will continue to dance and learn in Isis' beautiful studio and hopefully we will even have the opportunity to perform for those who are eager to show off their skills.
The main goal is to have fun and for me really it is my favorite exercise. Also, going out and club dancing would be another goal. There are a few clubs where you can dance to Eastern, techno and Bollywood beats. Lets find them in 2010!
I will write again before I have to delete the Bedford site. Bollywood and Bhangra DFW Meetup is looking for you!
