I still need fosters for the ones I listed except for Franklin...I will read your info more carefully and get back to you :) I think Roxy would be great, she is about 40 lbs and needs to gain weight - she loves other dogs and is used to living amongst herders! She won't try to escape, can use the dog door and is housebroken.

How HIGH is your fence?

We would be willing to foster a dog over the holidays.  We have 4 kids - great with dogs, and a border collie male mix (maybe with a husky - larger than typical border).  He's awesome with other dogs.  We do have a wrought iron fence so the baby might be able to squeeze out, and need a dog that is house trained.  We do not have a doggie door.

Do you have temporary homes for them, or are you still looking?  We live in Coppell.

Hi All,

I know it is the worst time of year, but I have just a few dogs left who were not and probably will not be adopted by Xmas. I am supposed to go on a trip to meet up with Charlie's biological mom so we can be together our first Christmas without him :( I have a dog-sitter but some of these dogs would do so much better not being at the house without us, and for these I am appealing for fosters for just this one week.

1 is a special needs Aussie who is partially blind - he can see well enough to function pretty normally and is housebroken - uses a dog door or will follow other dogs out, totally easygoing and sweet. He is on our Petfinder site "Franklin"

1 is an Aussie-Golden male who is 4 and gets along with everyone and supposedly cats but I never know for sure since we don't have a cat - he is on our Petfinder site - "Derby"

1 is a pit-lab mix, housebroken but would be best with a female dog. He obviously lives with tons of male dogs in and out but for foster I would pick a female dog. He is more lab and pointer than anything which is hard to tell on petfinder but he is listed: "Beemer"

1 is a 4 month old pit puppy who is about 18 lbs, she was the runt of her litter we raised from 4 days old - she is crate trained but would much prefer to be around other dogs. She is still a puppy size but trained and funny and cuddly as can be. I can send pics, I don't have her on Petfinder yet, keep hoping I will find a home through word of mouth bc she was the runt and is really precious to us.

1 is the mama of the pups, Roxy, on our Petfinder site, loves everyone, gets along great with other dogs, totally housebroken.

Our PF site is easiest to find by zip code - got to petfinder.com and put 75248 and North Dallas Dog Rescue will come up!

Please let me know if you are willing and able to help! I am supposed to leave Friday morning and I return the 30th so can get dogs back on the 31st long before NY's festivities begin!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for considering!
Sincerely,
Sara
