Monthly Clojure Meetup

We finally have a regular venue and a repeating schedule!

A big thank you to Basho for agreeing to host a monthly meetup.

Please join us for a night of Clojure discussion and networking.

Speakers or Hackfest topics will be discussed over the meetup board. If you want to present, please post a message to that effect.

I was most pleased to learn about Basho and Riak . .

Reid's talk was good. It evolved into some erlang expermentation and live coding at the repl. Lots of smart people discussing garbage collection, serialization vulnerabilities and swearjure. Great stuff all around. I highly recommend it.

I'm going to go ahead and do an elongated version of the 'Why learn Erlang?' lightning talk I'll be giving at Clojure/West next week. The basic takeaway will be things you can learn from Erlang to improve your Clojure/application skills.

We don't (yet) have a speaker for this month, but we'll still be on for hacking and general discussion. If anyone would like to do a talk or short lightning talk, lemme know.
