Fixed headers have become a mainstay in the industry, but as with any user interface technique, there are trade offs, implementation details and the right way and wrong ways to go about adding fixed headers to a site.
Front End Engineer Nick Dreckshage and Product Manager Marcus LaBrecque, both at Wayfair.com & Joss and Main, will take an in-depth look at the ins and outs of fixed headers and how they fit into the modern website from both a UX and coding perspective.
Marcus is a Product Manager for Wayfair.com | Joss and Main. Wayfair.com is the largest online-only retailer of home furnishings and house wares in the United States.
