Great start to the topic. Would be helpful to figure out code size, color etc ahead of time for what is now a larger crowd at the new space.

The first presentation was so poor that I left after 20 minutes. I really wanted to see the second presentation on the more advanced Sass/Compass features but couldn't bear to sit through the first presentation.

Any good recommendations for learning LESS? I understand it's not as powerful as SASS but our web-based application is built with Dojo, and Dojo uses LESS so I need to go the LESS route.

I really enjoyed the second presentation of the night. Loved the color take away. I was late so I can't really comment on the first presentation.

Good morning Front-Enders! Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation of Sass/Compass last night. For anyone who's interested, here are the slides from my talk last night. Working on getting the two additional examples up to github as well. https://speakerdeck.com/u/nickco...

I think the first presentation may have been a little too much of an introduction for the majority of people there - including myself. But, overall both presentations were excellent.

Good presentation and coverage on the basics of Sass and Compass, but reading the code was quite difficult at times. I'd recommend enlarging the code samples on slides, or even giving them their own individual slides.

    Hello all,

I had a great time to presenting and hope that you found it informative. Special thanks to BrightCove for the facility and to Pascal for organizing (and Nick for helping me). Here is a link to my blog with all the presentation information (slides, demo files, further reading links, and video - coming soon) - http://kiano.sh/KMPCFZ. Cheers,

    Kianosh

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
