Talks:

7-8:30 -- Getting a Haskell Project Started

Josh Cough will be giving a talk aimed at people who have read about and/or tinkered with Haskell and are ready to take it to the next level. The talk will cover:

• ghci (very briefly)

• Cabal (the canonical build system for Haskell) - including structuring, building and running libraries, executables, and tests, managing dependencies, and more.

• Hoogle and Hackage - Finding functions, libraries and documentation.

• Building your project with Travis on each push to GitHub.

The talk won't cover the basics of Haskell, but should still be very useful for beginners.

8:30-9 -- Lightning Talks Welcome!

We are happy to fill the remaining time with lightning talks from anyone. But, in their absence we can simply geek out, or bring newcomers up to date with what talks we've planned for future meetups.

Food:

Pizzas, salad and soda

Logistics:

If you can, please plan on arriving between 6:45pm and 7pm, but there will be someone in the lobby to greet stragglers.

Afterwards:

If you'd like to stick around, a number of us tend to head down to the CBC (http://www.cambrew.com/) or another pub afterwards to socialize. If you would like to give a lightning talk or if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to follow up here or email one of the organizers.
