NETWORKING: INCUBATORS FOR STARTUPS

Details

Wednesday October 17, 2012
Incubators are in the news lately. It seems that every week we see news of another incubator-backed company winning funding or launching a successful new product. You may find yourself wondering whether going the incubator route is worthwhile for your great idea. And wondering what other options there are out there to jump-start your idea.
Join us for a networking event like no other: our second annual one-night "mini-expo" of incubators from around the region, part of BREW, the Boston Regional Entrepreneurship Weeks. We'll have representatives from over a dozen incubator organizations there to share what benefits they offer you as an entrepreneur, what the requirements are for getting in, and how you can get the most out of being part of an incubator. Also on boad for the evening will be a host of other creative programs that help startups get up and running, from state initiatives to virtual help that you can take advantage of without ever leaving your office.
We'll have representatives from large, general programs, including MassChallenge, specialty programs in biotech, clean-tech, and more, together with other kick-start programs, including the Awesome Foundation. Enjoy pizza, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and meet the programs that could just give you the kick-start to take your idea from the sketching stage to a successful launch!
