Legal Design - What Can Lawyers Learn From Design Thinking?

Details

Come participate in a design thinking exercise that will help inform the future direction of the Boston Legal Innovation Meetup. Design thinking is a term coined by David Kelley, founder of California-based design firm IDEO and Stanford’s d.school, to describe a structured process that brings together what is desirable with
what is technologically feasible and economically viable. It allows those who are not trained as designers to use creative tools to address a range of challenges. Lawyers and legal educators
are just beginning to explore the use of design thinking in our field. By participating, you’ll gain a better understanding of how to apply design thinking in your work, and at the same time contribute
to the future growth and direction of our Meetup group. The event will be hosted by NuLawLab, the innovation laboratory of Northeastern University School of Law.
