This group is designed to bring music teachers and music students of all backgrounds and expertise together to network with one another. The goal is to put fellow teachers and students in direct contact with one another so that we can cultivate a strong community of educators, musicians, and entrepreneurs. "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" - Aristotle

What you might use this group for:

As a teacher:
-Find potential teachers to teach at your studio (or to create a studio with!)
-Cultivate a network of teachers who specialize in various areas of music so that you can refer your students to these teachers should they want to expand their musical horizons (AKA - build partnerships!)
-Brainstorm with other teachers
-Learn how to improve or enhance your current teaching through workshops, guest speakers, and more!
-Figure out the latest and greatest "tricks of the trade" - expand your lens to find out what others are up to in the area
-Exercise your creativity and visions; discover focus and inspiration by surrounding yourself by like-minded individuals; set goals and find the support you need to achieve them.

As a student:
-Meet many teachers of all different backgrounds & specialties & take your pick!
-Find out more about various teaching methods and studios that exist in your area
-Meet other students looking to make music a part of their life -Get proper support and motivation to follow through with your musical dreams!

As the founder/director of a local music studio in the South End of Boston called Musicians' Playground I've realized the importance of having a strong network of both fellow educators and students alike. I find it to be a shame that we lack the opportunity to have regular, casual, mixers to accomplish the above. So, please join me once a month for what I hope will become a more frequent and much larger movement for real connections and progress to be made.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
