This MeetUp event is for photographers and pet-lovers looking to explore the art of animal and wildlife photography! Join us at the corner of Joy St. and Beacon St. in the Boston Commons once-a-month at 12:30 pm for a two-hour photography lesson with a professional instructor! Bring along your DSLR camera and of course, bring your pet if you can!! Your instructor will teach you how to capture those oh-so-adorable moments with your pet at home and also how to catch a perfect fleeting moment of a bird in flight.  You will visit the Boston Common's Frog Pond to practice your new techniques on the mama ducks and their flocks of baby chicks and also the dogs (and yes, sometimes cats on leashes too!) that your fellow Meetup members bring along.  Spend a beautiful afternoon in the park with your favorite furry friend and your camera learning how to master the manual settings on your DSLR and capturing amazing photos of your pet in action and at rest! The Boston Common is a great place to find dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as a variety of wildlife...you'd be surprised how many ducks, birds, squirrels and little city dwellers can be found there!!  We know that your pet might never sit still and that finding a beautiful blue jay in your yard is a rare moment, so your instructor will teach you how to snap a quick photo with perfection to ensure that these amazing animal photo opportunities are never missed. You can expect to learn a lot, walk away with great photos, have a ton of fun and meet some fellow Bostonians who love photography and animals!

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
