Collaboration Night!!! Dashboards; Kaggle Contests

Details

This is a new event format aimed at bringing folks together for deeper discussions and learning. Its asked that everyone who participates has attempted to create a Dashboard (Tableau, et al, or tried a Kaggle contest (instructions below).

The reason these two topics were chosen is that there was a recent Coursera Data Science course such that some folks who took that would be able to attend without too much more leg-work. For those who didn't take the class, and wish to participate, then please visit either Kaggle or Tableau's website - each has thorough instructions on how to get started.

Also, please note for the Coursera Data Science assignments on Kaggle and Tableau we were given very little guidance. Both were pretty much do-it-yourself, and given it was an assignment that it was our motivation. The amount on time on each of these varied among students - perhaps most fell into a time commitment of 4-10 hours. For example, please see the following dashboard (other tabs are for the Coursera assignment).

If you want to see more than change the 752 to a 1, then 2, ... or 50, 888 (used filters), etc. Most Coursera students just used the default charts, and no filters.
