Boston Data Festival: Help Needed with Event and Food Sponsors

From: John V.

Hi Folks,

Several local organizations, including hack/reduce and various data-related Meetup groups, have been working on a week-long series of date-centric events to occur in early November.  A core schedule of events has been set with the kick-off beginning on Monday 11/4 with a keynote and all-star panel, followed by several weeknight events, and culminating with a coder dojo, hackathon, and workshops on the weekend of 11/9-10.  For attendees, please note that a separate registration email will be sent out in a few days.

At this time we are looking for both food, as well as event space sponsors, in order to both support the current events, and to expand the initial set of events.  For event space, a gathering spot that can host anywhere from[masked] folks would be great, and smaller venues of ~40 for workshops would work well too!  Additionally, sponsorship levels have been set up ranging from $250 upwards.   For example, a sponsorship could go towards buying pizza (usually runs ~$250), or to help with hotel conference room costs.  Sponsor benefits include promotional aspects (e.g. logo placement in emails, on websites), and also presentation slots or vendor tables at events.  Specific details may be found on the event website.
