Quantitative and Systems Pharmacology Driving Early Drug Development

Dr. Birgit Schoeberl from Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is our distinguished guest speaker. She leads early stage drug discovery and development as the Head of Discovery at Merrimack.

Come and hear from Birgit about the crucial role that QSP approach played in the development of Seribantumab (MM-121) from early discovery to early clinical testing. MM-121 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets the HER3 receptor. It is currently being tested in combination with docetaxel and pemetrexed in phase 2 study of non-small cell lung cancer patients. Only patients who are heregulin positive based on Merrimack's pre-identified biomarker profile are enrolled for the study.
