Come see Wayfair and Google show the future of online shopping. Mike Festa will present Wayfair Next, his new team for 3D scanning, VR and AR. David Scannell will have the latest on Google Project Tango.

Furniture and home décor is one of the last remaining categories with a strong brick and mortar presence. Wayfair Next aims to accelerate the shift to buying online by drastically improving the visualization of our products. We are researching novel 3D scanning techniques to digitize our vast catalog. We will be showing two demos: a VR demo using the HTC Vive and an AR demo on the Google Tango. Wayfair is one of the fastest growing tech companies in Boston and we have a lot of openings for exciting careers.

9:45pm - Come with us to the afterparty at Firebrand Saints (it's right downstairs!!)

Parking

If you're coming to the afterparty, Firebrand Saints offers free validated parking for entry after 5pm. If you enter through the garage keep going into the parking lot so you don't have to go through security again after the garage closes. Please note that the validation is temporary; once they swipe your ticket you should exit the lot immediately.

I am so excited that my RSVP was changed to "yes" from the wait list. However, I am worried because I do not remember putting my last name in... Is there any way to see/edit the name on my RSVP without changing my RSVP status? Thank you!

  When viewing the site on a desktop browser, the list of people who've RSVP'd is to the right of the comments of this event page. Because of it's length for this event, it's difficult to quickly parse, but below the top list of those "going", there is a separate list of "waiting". On the mobile version of the site, I think it works similarly, except that the lists of those going, waiting, or not going is found under a tab called "Going" on the event page. You're currently listed as going, so you must have been taken off the wait list. Congratulations!

  You don't need to use your last name as your meetup.com user name if you don't want to. However when you RSVP for each event you'll get a pop-up that prompts you to enter your full name. This will only be shared with the security desk at the venue as our guest list. Welcome to the group!
