Boston Young Muslims (and Friends) Meetup Group

This group is meant to provide an opportunity for social networking for students and young professionals. The group is mainly directed towards Muslims but anyone is welcome to join. The events organized are mostly social in nature but in keeping with Islamic values, such as being alcohol-free events. Take a look at a list of our past events to see the kinds of things we do.


For college students, you can meet people outside of your campus Muslim Students Association through this group in a relaxed, social setting.
For young professionals, this is a way to meet other Muslims in the area in a fun setting.

 

We hope that through this group, people will:

1) Enjoy fun events

2) Make new friends

3) Possibly meet a potential spouse in a safe, friendly environment. For total clarification, we are not a "singles" group and don't want to be. Everyone is welcome here. And we will not be organizing any "singles" events. But we do hope to provide a nice environment for people to mingle given the lack of such opportunities in the area.

Finally, some basic policies:

- We expect all members to be respectful to each other. We will not tolerate any kind of harassment by individuals towards other members, whether in person or virtually. If anyone has any concerns, please contact one of the organizers and we will work with you to resolve the situation discreetly and immediately including removing the offending party from the group per Meetup rules.
