The nitty gritty of zooming and panning in D3.js

Details

Edit: We're going to merge with the nice folks over at Boston Data Visualization (https://www.meetup.com/bostondatavis/events/231543917/), so make note of the changed location. If you'd like to attend, please RSVP on their event page (https://www.meetup.com/bostondatavis/events/231543917/) so that we can keep an accurate tally of how many will attend. Everyone that already RSVP'd here is welcome there as well.

It’s been a while since the last Meetup for this group. Let’s change that! I’ll start by talking about the zoom behavior in D3.js. How does it work? How do you use it? Where should you use it? The plan is to have a technical presentation with plenty of code and examples.

Other presentations are also very welcome! If anybody has work they’d like to share and present, please either message me or post it in the comments. Bonus points if it involves zooming! If we don't have time for it at this event, we can schedule it for the next one.
