Jeffrey Breen, Principal with Big Data consulting firm Think Big Analytics, will provide an introduction to Hadoop, including its MapReduce programming paradigm, and an overview of the various methods of using R with Hadoop. Jeffrey will provide a deep-dive into using the RHadoop package, including some sample code, and tips on how to get started using these tools yourself.
