Lightning talk meeting to start 2013 off with a Bang

Details
We are starting 2013 off with a night of lightning talks.
We are looking for volunteers to come and give us a short (roughly 5 minutes) talk on the cool new R things you are working on.
We already have 4 volunteers (Parallel R, Shiny and more)
but we need more, so please come tell us about your work.
Our goal is to have at least 8 volunteers.
We also want to hear from you folks who don't know a lot about R but think you have an idea or an application that would be a good fit for R and want some feedback from R experts.
We'll call this the "Can R help with this?" part of the night and we want around 8 volunteers to give a very brief (2 minutes) description of your problem/application/idea.
To volunteer for either type of presentation please use the thread on the meetup website https://www.meetup.com/Boston-useR/messages/boards/thread/30289412
Our last lightning talk night was a great success with many fascinating presentations, so please think about volunteering and definitely plan on coming.
Thanks to HackReduce for hosting us. We think there is a lot of potential synergy between their mission and our group. Check them out at http://www.hackreduce.org/
Hope to see you there,
John, Josh & Vipin
