Have you ever stayed up until the wee hours of the morning to finish a series you're hooked to? Do you know how to pronounce FLCL? Are you hooked on Naruto or Dragon Ball Z, but want to know what else is out there?
If you are a fan of Anime or Japanese film (we watch both, but more so anime) and are interested in meeting like-minded people, this group is for you! Some meetups will be a small group of people hanging out and watching anime at a member's apartment, we've gone to movies together, we had a great time in the Boston Commons taking in the weather and watching anime on laptops, and a few other random ideas.
You WILL:
1. meet people just as enthusiastic as you about your favorite anime, no matter how obscure
2. be introduced to a new series or film you've never seen, and find a new addiction
3. have the opportunity to have a great time - I can't force you to have fun ;) But we're a fun bunch!
Who we are?
Some members are hardcore anime nerds, some know very little about anime but are open-minded, some like to dress up as their favorite character for cons, or some just want to practice their Japanese. We have teenagers and gray-haired members, though most are in-between, and everybody is welcome!
I hope to see you at our next event! Don't be shy - I'm pretty normal for an anime guy, and everyone is friendly and ready to have fun!

We discussed possibly having the meetup at my residence here in Arlington, be happy to do that next Sunday at 7. I have a room we can use as well as drinks and perhaps snacks, we can continue watching black lagoon or whatever people would like.
