Do you think you have the best-tasting honey around? Enter the black jar honey show and find out!

How a black jar honey show works: the jar is "blacked-out" either with paint or tape so that the color of the honey is not actually visible. The judging is based purely on taste and generally occurs while blind-folded.

Entries for the black jar honey show can be submitted at Follow the Honey from noon on Monday, August 15 to noon on Friday, August 19.

Voting will happen throughout the day at the National Honey Bee Day celebration at Follow the Honey on Saturday, August 20, and a winners will be announced by 4:00 pm.

First, Second, and Third place will each receive a ribbon. First place will also receive a copy of the Fresh Honey Cookbook! Can't wait to taste your honey!
